Working arrangement detail

The primary office is in Canberra, however working remotely from an alternate location (including work from home) or flexible work arrangements may be considered. Any approval is at the sole discretion of the Buyer. All required travel to and from location will be at the Seller’s expense.

About the Role

Content writers create and edit print and digital text. They conduct research around topics and audiences, identify content gaps, use search engine optimisation, style guides and accessibility guidelines. Some specialise in technical, scientific or instructional writing, simplifying complex information for optimal consumption by users.

Key duties
The Services, delivered in collaboration with and under supervision by nominated AFP personnel, include, but are not limited to, work with the Business Area (BA)’s & design teams to develop, documentation including, but not limited to:

  • Business Requirements Specifications

  • High Level Design

  • Detail Designs

  • Test Plans

work with the project team and related stakeholders to develop, documentation including, but not limited to:

  • Implementation plans

  • Test results

work with the project and BAU teams to develop, documentation including, but not limited to:

  • As-Built Documents

  • Operations Manuals / Standard Operating Procedures

  • Lessons Learned Reports

  • Training documentation

  • User Documentation

As part of the services, the seller must ensure the specified personnel:

  • Maintains currency in information technology processes and technical knowledge through ongoing professional development.

  • Establishes and maintains effective business relationships and professional networks.

  • Contributes to and implements improved ICT practices and procedures.

  • Detail Designs

  • Test Plans

work with the project team and related stakeholders to develop, documentation including, but not limited to:

  • Implementation plans

  • Test results

work with the project and BAU teams to develop, documentation including, but not limited to:

  • Works effectively in a small team environment, and wider Command environment. AFP Band 5 Work Level Standards to apply.

  • Content authoring level 2

    User experience design level 3

The AFP reserves the right to engage further suppliers for the same services if required utilising this RFQ. Any offer of engagement will be made within 6-months of the RFQ release date.

Requirements

Criteria
The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified. This is equal to 5000 characters.

Essential

  1. Solution
    The extent to which the potential supplier’s response meets the AFP’s requirements as set out in the ATM documents.

  2. Ability to deliver
    The extent to which the potential supplier demonstrates its capability and capacity to provide the requirements.

  3. Whole of life costs
    The whole of life costs for the AFP. Evaluation includes the quoted price and any costs the AFP will incur after accepting the potential supplier’s response.
